Bespoke & Relocation

K-Tec has a small well equipped instrument machine shop and can offer our expertise to repair, modify or manufacture a bespoke part for your existing equipment, or tailor make a new system to your design. We combine our experience in Microscopy and Machining to provide you a one stop solution for your needs. We can manufacture parts from metal or plastic from a simple sketch, CAD drawings to verbal descriptions and that combined with the understanding of how the microscopes work, will provide you with a unique service for your needs.  

K-Tec offer a relocation “Pack and Move” service, to relocate your microscope to a new location. Whether you require one microscope to be moved down the corridor to a new room or a whole lab of dissecting microscopes moved off site to a new location, we can provide this service. We can either work with your large commercial move company that is relocating your lab, integrating with them to seamlessly relocate your microscopes ensuring that they are looked after all the way, or relocating just one microscope system using our own transportation. K-Tec experienced technicians will, carefully dismantle and pack each microscope component into transport crates and transport to your new location. When the Microscope is at its new location, K-Tec technicians will then unpack and assemble each microscope, align and check the microscope for correct operation. Our aim is to look after your Microscopes so you won’t lose a moment of valuable time from your equipment being out of service.
